GB TOURS was first established in 1984, offering concert tickets and coach travel packages to people in and around Merseyside.
Now, some 27 years later - while still being owned and operated by the original partners – there are over twenty different pick up
areas throughout England and Wales. GB TOURS now provide day trips, mini breaks and longer coach holidays, to locations throughout
the UK and Ireland, to around 50,000 passengers annually.
So what has kept GB TOURS around for so long and why do so many passengers book with them again and again?
Good, informed advice and service
Our Reservations Team care more that you book something you will enjoy than if you book at all. At least one of the team will
have been on the tour - and they will be more than willing to tell you about it (any warts an’ all) so you can make a more informed
choice. We want you to choose a break that meets your expectations and your taste - only that way will you keep coming back for more -
as so many of you have for the last 27 years!
Financial Security
As a member of the Association of Bonded Travel Organisers Trust Limited (ABTOT), an Association approved by BIS, GB TOURS has
provided a Bond to meet the requirements of the Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992. In the event of
GB TOURS' insolvency, this Bond provides security for:
- non-flight inclusive packages commencing in and returning to the UK; and
- packages excluding flights to and from your destination
which are offered by GBTOURS.
Please note that bookings made from overseas must be made directly with GB TOURS and not via an agent.
In the above circumstances, the following will apply:
- a refund of your prepayments if you have not yet travelled; or
- repatriation where your non-flight inclusive package commences in and returns to the UK if you have already travelled.
Please note that accommodation only (self drive) bookings and day trips are not covered via the Bond.
