Day 1: On the first day we drive down to one of the ferry ports on the South coast and board the Ferry for a one-hour sailing to the Isle of Wight.
There’s time to settle-in to the Ocean Hotel in Sandown and freshen-up before dinner this evening.
Day 2: This morning we see one of the natural wonders of the English coastline when we visit Alum Bay and view the famous ‘Needles’. And then spend some time in the resort of West Cowes.
This afternoon we visit one of the most photographed and prettiest villages on the island, Godshill and enjoy a cream tea at ‘The Old Smithy’, a 17th century cottage complete with herb gardens and a very nice tea shop.
Day 3: Today we visit the island’s capital Newport and also the seaside town of Ryde. Which has one of England’s oldest pleasure Piers.
We finish the day at Rosemary’s - England’s largest Wine Vineyard including a fascinating talk and plenty of samples!
Day 4: Today is left free for you to relax and explore Sandown at your own pace.
Day 5: Depart for home after a last hearty breakfast to see us on our way
