Day 1: You’ll arrive at your hotel late afternoon, with time to settle-in and get acquainted with the hotel before dinner this evening.
Day 2: After you first, hearty ‘Queens Hotel’ breakfast - we have a trip to the historic and charming city of Salisbury.
This city is an architectural gem with its narrow streets, beautiful half-timbered buildings, St Ann Street with beautiful ivy-covered Georgian and Victorian houses. It’s quaint and atmospheric – a delightful city.
Day 3: A trip across the Purbeck peninsula - 60 square miles of land almost completely surrounded by water. We stop a while in one of the prettiest seaside resorts in England, Swanage with its terrific sandy beaches and picturesque little streets and views.
From Swanage our coach will take the Chain Ferry which crosses the entrance to stunning Poole Harbour – to Poole itself.
Poole town nestles by a large natural harbour on the shores of the English Channel. It has grown quite rapidly because of its gorgeous location. In fact, Sandbanks - a small neighbourhood across part of the harbour mouth, is so popular that is now has become the fourth highest-valued land, by area, in the world.
Poole Pottery is very near where the chain boat arrives, and later this afternoon, when you’ve had a good look around Poole - do come back to Poole Pottery, relax, take the weight off your feet in their nice Café and enjoy the Dorset Cream tea we’ve booked for you
Day 4: There’s a lot to see and do in Bournemouth so we’ve left this day free to relax and explore at your own pace.
Day 5: After a last hearty breakfast we bid a reluctant farewell and set off for home.
