Day 1: The coach departs this morning on a leisurely drive into Wales with a stop or two along the way. We’ll arrive at our hotel late afternoon with time to settle-in to the Queens Hotel Llandudno and look forward to dinner and a first relaxing evening. A stroll along the crescent promenade is a nice thing to do after dinner.
Day 2: After a hearty breakfast we visit the charming towns of Conwy and then Caernarfon.
As we approach Conwy you’ll see a scene straight from a postcard – a beautiful harbour overlooking the River Conwy estuary and the magnificent Castle rising above the town. Conwy is renowned for its medieval Castle and almost complete town walls. No wonder Conwy has been awarded World Heritage status.
Later, we make our way along the scenic north Wales coast to the ‘royal’ town of Caernarfon in Gwynedd, probably best known for its own mighty Castle. Wales is the land of Castles!
Day 3: Today we visit the town of Llanberis and enjoy a ride on a narrow gauge steam train and enjoy a lovely scenic trip around Padarn Lake, returning to Llanberis 1 hour later.
After Llanberis we go to Betws-y-Coed and you have time for lunch here and a browse around this picturesque typically welsh village.
Day 4: Today is left free so you can explore Llandudno at your own pace
Day 5: After a last, hearty breakfast we leave for home.
