Day 1: Monday morning, starts for you when our friendly and knowledgeable driver arrives with a luxurious coach to take you to the Corton Holiday Village, which is near Lowestoft.
The friendly, people-focused, Warner staff welcome you and show you to your bright, warm and comfortable en-suite chalet. Your chalet has tea & coffee making facilities, TV with freeview (so you can keep up with your favourite TV programmes) and a hairdryer. You'll have time to explore the centre (no screaming kids running about the site) or relax and freshen up ready for your delicious 3-course meal in the Clyffe Restaurant.
And then the fun really begins when the live cabaret show unfolds on stage - you don't even have to move from your comfortable dining seat to watch. Warner's entertainment is well-known for its high quality (actually I've been told by previous guests it is better than the entertainment you had at South Downs). And, of course, you can start to make friends with our other guests… and maybe even meet up with old friends from previous trips you've taken with us.
Day 2: you can relax and enjoy the amenities in the village or join us for an enjoyable day browsing the historic Norwich Market - there are 190 stalls, indoor and outdoor, so you are sure to find plenty to interest you. The market is in the centre of the town so there are diverse and interesting shops, including antique centres. And there are welcoming tea shops, for when you want to take the weight off your feet and enjoy a nice cuppa. We get you back to Corton in plenty of time to explore the village amenities and change (if you want to) for another sumptuous dinner and evening's entertainment.
Day 3: A Steam Train ride (heated) through Norfolk Broads countryside. Our coach takes you to Wroxham or Aylsham. Here we join the Bure Valley Railway for a 45 minute scenic steam journey.
Your driver then whisks you to the waterside village of Potter Heigham where you have time to enjoy a leisurely stroll around this picturesque village. And what can be better than finishing your wonderful day with a meal with your friends while watching another engaging show back at Corton?
Day 4: is free for you to do whatever you want. You can enjoy one of the many activities Warner offers such as shuffleboard, fun bowls, table tennis, swing ball or badminton. Or you can take advantage of the heated indoor swimming pool, steam room or sauna.
Or perhaps you would like to visit nearby Great Yarmouth or Lowestoft? You can catch the bus to either of these interesting towns; the stop is just a short 5-minute walk from the Corton village (and remember, you can use your free bus pass if you have one), just make sure you get back in time for this evening's dinner and show.
Or, how about enjoying a chat with your friends whilst relaxing in the comfy armchairs in the centre's inviting and peaceful Coffee Lounge? Go on; spoil yourself with a mouth-watering cream cake!
Day 5: On the last day, after breakfast, you board your luxury coach for a comfortable and relaxing ride home. We aim to reach your drop off point between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. because we appreciate that you really don't want to arrive home in the dead of night!
