DAY 1: A leisurely drive north – into Scotland where we enjoy a comfortable overnight stay with dinner at our hotel near Stirling or in the Greater Glasgow area.
DAY 2: After breakfast we take the A9 through the spectacular Cairngorms and Speyside, stopping for a while in the Highland capital of Inverness. Continuing on through the gorgeous scenery of Ullapool, we take and early evening ferry to the Isle of Lewis where we stay for 2 nights at the Caladh Inn in Stornoway. Late dinner this evening.
DAY 3: A wonderful guided tour around Lewis today with a local expert guide. You’ll see the beauty of the Island and traditional ‘Blackhouses’, amazingly still lived in until recent times. You’ll also see ‘Scotland’s Stonehenge and an historic ‘Broch’ at Carloway.
DAY 4: Today we leave Lewis and cross several Islands which are linked by causeway. More breathtaking scenery as we cross from Lewis to the Isle of Harris and the tiny port of Leverburgh. From here we take the Ferry to the Isle of Berneray then travel through North Uist and across the causeway to our next hotel on the Isle of Benbecula.

DAY 5: Another local guide takes charge today as we discover the Isle of South Uist and the fascinating Kildonan Museum and we also see the Isle of Eriskay – just 3 miles by 1½ miles. Population 200.
DAY 6: This morning we go to the port of Lochmaddy and board the ferry for a beautiful sea crossing over the Little Minch to the Isle of Skye.
We travel the whole length of Skye with its brilliant scenery and then down through the Highlands for a final overnight stop and later dinner at our hotel near Stirling or in the Greater Glasgow area.
DAY 7: We complete the last leg of our journey arriving home early evening.
