Day 1: We arrive at Lakeside, set in 32 acres of landscaped grounds with a pretty courtyard and Lake complete with Ducks, late afternoon. Check in, settle-in and look forward to your first evening of a good dinner and great entertainment later
Take your reserved seats in the Chichester restaurant, enjoy a delicious dinner and attentive waiter service and then after dinner the lights dim and the Cabaret commences. Sit back and enjoy the evening’s entertainment without having to move! If you prefer a quiet drink and a chat, more serene enjoyment can be found at the Piano Bar.
Day 2: A trip to historic city of Winchester. It’s amazing Cathedral one of the oldest in the country (begun in 1079) - a must-see while you’re here. Also see the old City Centre, with its narrow pedestrian streets and overhanging medieval buildings. Of special interest are the Pentice, a group of old shops arcaded at the front, and the Butter Cross, dating back to the 15th century and built with a tax levied on people caught eating butter during Lent.
Day 3: We’ll have a nice full day out today when we go to the historic and lovely city of Brighton. From the stunning heritage of the Royal Pavilion, Regency architecture and Victorian aquariums to the traditional seaside fun of the famous Brighton Pier and pebble beach, and of course, ‘The Lanes’ - this historic quarter is a fabulous maze of twisting alleyways, twittens and catcreeps crammed with quaint and wondrous shops and funky restaurants and cafes, the Brighton Lanes are best wandered lazily and explored as you find them!
Day 4: A big part of this holiday is Lakeside itself so today is left free so you can spend some time here. Relax with a walk in the grounds or Join in the activities or enjoy a coffee and just people-watch!
Day 5: Enjoy a last, hearty ‘Warner’s’ breakfast to see us on our journey home today
