Banish winter blues with our exclusive 5 Day break
We take over the whole camp - just for GB Tours' guests
Day 1: Meet our coach this morning on a leisurely drive into Wales to Bodelwyddan Castle.
Come and experience this majestic grade II listed castle with its stunning views, sensory gardens and beautiful woodland setting. Boasting an indoor leisure complex, you can also take time to relax with a range of Health and Beauty treatments or gently exercise in the indoor pool.
Day 2: Wake to a hearty breakfast (or something lighter, there’s endless choice) then board the coach for a great day out…
A trip to the beautiful welsh town of Conwy and then Victorian Llandudno.
As we approach Conwy you’ll see a scene straight from a postcard – a beautiful harbour over looking the River Conwy estuary and yet another magnificent Castle rising above the town. Conwy is renowned for its medieval Castle and almost complete town walls. No wonder Conwy has been awarded World Heritage status!
After a good time in Conwy we drive along the classic Victorian Seaside town of Llandudno with its famous crescent-shaped promenade (pictured) and awesome great Orme!
Day 3: After you favourite breakfast this morning we make our way along the scenic north Wales coast to the ‘royal’ town of Caernarfon in Gwynedd, probably best known for its own mighty Castle. Wales is the land of Castles!
The town is dominated today, as it has been for more than seven centuries, by the great castle, (now a World Heritage site) which remains much as it was when construction was halted in the 13th Century. Caernarfon Castle was never fully completed, but it stands as a fabulous landmark, with a compelling museum.
You’ll have plenty of time to browse and have a spot of lunch here if you wish before we go on to charming Betws-y-Coed.
This is the principal village of the Snowdonia National Park. Set in a beautiful valley with numerous Craft and outdoor activity shops in the village and the popular Swallow Falls nearby. The main street, Holyhead Road, has numerous tea shops, cosy inns and specialist shops. At the railway station there’s a Museum with a miniature railway and you might want to see the 14th century church of St Michael's - one of the oldest in Wales and worth viewing.
Day 4: A day free in Bodelwyddan to relax and recharge your batteries.
Day 5: Enjoy your final ‘Boddy’ breakfast before we leave for home
