Don’t miss this rare opportunity to see part of the world-famous Terracotta Army when it comes to Liverpool, PLUS a visit to either St George’s Hall or Sudley House
Day 1: We arrive in Liverpool around 10:30 and head straight to the Merseyside Maritime Museum, where you can learn all about the city’s prestigious maritime past.
You then have plenty of free time to go shopping in the Liverpool ONE retail complex, before we head to our hotel, the centrally-located Radisson Blu, Jury's Inn or Holiday Inn Hotel.
Day 2: After breakfast, we are booked in to view the fantastic Terracotta Warriors exhibition in the city’s World Museum. Showcasing objects from one of the world’s greatest archaeological discoveries, this unmissable exhibition includes a number of objects never before seen in the UK.
There will be time to explore the rest of the museum too, before we set off for either St George’s Hall or Sudley House.
Opened in 1854, St George’s Hall is a magnificent example of neo-Classicism. In the heart of Liverpool, it contains prison cells, imposing court rooms and the biggest classical reception room in the UK.
Sudley House, in a south Liverpool suburb, is a Victorian merchant's house filled with period furniture and beautiful paintings.
We will have some time there before we have to leave for home.
Price includes: 1 night D/B/B basis, coach travel, entrance to attractions as described.
Please Note – the running order of the itinerary on Day 2 can vary depending on the time of our exhibition tickets.
