Day 1: Join our coach for the drive down to the south coast, where we board the Wightlink ferry to Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight – from there it’s just a short drive to Norton Grange.
Settle into your en-suite chalet and perhaps enjoy a drink on the terrace overlooking the Solent before dinner and a great night of entertainment.
Days 2-4: Our time on the island will include 2 super days out.
One of the day trips will consist of a tour of the island, visiting the astonishingly Godshill, which boasts some of the oldest architecture on the Isle of Wight. The tour will also take in the charming traditional seaside town of Shanklin, with its glorious long, wide sandy beach and Esplanade.
Then there’s a visit to the fascinating Isle of Wight Pearl factory, where you can find out how pearls are produced.
And of course we couldn’t tour the island without going to see the beautiful Alum Bay, noted for its amazing multi-coloured sand cliffs. From here we can marvel at the famous Needles, the three distinctive stacks of chalk which rise about 30m out of the sea off the coast.
Our second day trip consists of a visit to the lovely Osborne House, Queen Victoria’s palatial home. Here you can visit Victoria and Albert's private apartments, see their bathing beach and children's play-cottage for an intimate glimpse of royal family life, then stroll through the garden terraces.
Of course, time will be left free for you to relax and enjoy the many facilities at Norton Grange.
Day 5: After a last breakfast it’s time to bid farewell to this lovely island, jump back onto our coach and head for home, via the ferry of course.
