Day 1: On the first day we go to Chester and enjoy some free time in this wonderful Roman city and stay overnight.
Day 2: We head to Heysham on the Lancashire coast and take the mid-afternoon ferry to Douglas, Isle of Man.
We check-into our hotel in Douglas where we stay for 4 nights.
We use 2 great-quality sister 3-star hotels in Douglas; the Rutland and Chesterhouse
Day 3: Breakfast then we join the Isle of Man Steam Railway which runs to Port Erin. Admission to the Steam Museum is included with some free time in Port Erin.
Note: at times when IOM Steam Railway is not running an alternative excursion will operate.
Later we head to Cregneash for some views of the Calf of Man returning via Port Mary and Castletown.
Day 4: After breakfast we head to Ramsey, from here we head to Peel, home to the Island’s Cathedral.
Later we stop for a lovely treat at Green’s Tea Rooms at Tynwald Hill.
Day 5: Today is left free so you can explore Douglas at your own pace.
Day 6: An early breakfast today then time to go home. We take the 08:45 Ferry back to Heysham and continue our homeward journey.
