Day 1: We head to the lovely county of Shropshire and enjoy time in the attractive market town of Shrewsbury including a delightful cruise on the River Severn which runs through the town.
We stay overnight in the north Wales area – convenient for our Ferry tomorrow.
Day 2: To the Port of Holyhead on the island of Anglesey for the Ferry to Dublin.
We arrive at Dublin and then head west across Ireland to our hotel near the town of Castlebar in Co Mayo.
Arriving at our hotel this evening around 9pm to 9:30pm.
Day 3: We visit Co Galway for a boat trip on Killary Fjord surrounded by fabulous scenery. After the cruise, we’ll visit Kylemore Abbey and Victorian walled gardens - one of the best attractions in the west of Ireland.
Day 4: Our day out today takes us to world-famous Foxford Mills – one of the oldest in Ireland. There’s a complimentary tour and exhibition and the original building has a lovely shop and tea rooms.
On the way back to the hotel we stop a while at Ballina, an old-fashioned salmon fishing town.
Day 5: Today is left free for you to relax and perhaps use the hotels fabulous facilities.
Day 6: After breakfast we leave our hotel for Dublin where we arrive around 12:30pm.
Enjoy a few hours this afternoon exploring, shopping, sightseeing and we stay overnight on the city outskirts convenient for Ferry home tomorrow.
Day 7: An early start today as we are booked on the 8am Ferry from Dublin.
