Day 1: Drive to one of the ferry ports on the South coast and board the ferry for a 1-hour sailing to the Isle of Wight, and then on to our hotel in Shanklin, where we stay for 4 nights.
Day 2: This morning we see one of the natural wonders of the English coastline when we visit Alum Bay and view the famous Needles. Afterwards, we spend some time in the resort of West Cowes.
This afternoon we visit one of the most photographed and prettiest villages on the island, Godshill, and enjoy a cream tea at The Old Smithy, a 17th century cottage.
Day 3: Today we visit the island’s unofficial capital, Newport, and also the seaside town of Ryde, which has one of England’s oldest pleasure piers.
We finish the day at Rosemary's Vineyard, one of England’s largest vineyards, where we’ll be treated to a fascinating talk and plenty of samples!
Day 4: Free day to explore Shanklin.
Day 5: After breakfast we head for home.
