Day 1: We arrive at our ‘Little Haven’ hotel this afternoon for 4 nights.
Day 2: Today we enjoy a scenic drive along the spectacular Northumberland coast with a comfort stop in the pretty, historic village of Warkworth (good few tea rooms here) and then later we go into magnificent Bamburgh Castle or Alnwick Castle.
Day 3: Today a local expert guide joins us to proudly show us around her ‘home turf’ including Hadrian’s Wall, Chesters Fort and the ancient market town of Hexham.
Day 4: You’ve got plenty of free time today in delightful Durham city.
Day 5: We leave for home after a last, hearty breakfast to see us on our way.
