Day 1: We arrive at our hotel this afternoon for 4 nights.
Day 2: We visit Scotland’s most beautiful Castle. Glamis has been the ancestral seat to the Earls of Strathmore and Kinghorne since 1372, inspiration for Shakespeare’s Macbeth, the childhood home of HM Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother, and birthplace of HRH The Princess Margaret.
After Glamis, we head north and give you a taste of the outstanding scenery of the Cairngorms National Park with a stop for refreshments.
Day 3: Famous Grouse is Scotland’s best-known Amber Nectar. So, a tour of this historic distillery is a must. This afternoon sees us in the exquisite Gardens of Drummond. Scotland has many beautiful gardens and Drummond is a stunning example.
Day 4: A free day to enjoy Dundee. Your hotel is central, so you can stroll out and about the town. Suggestions for visits include; The Botanic Gardens and historic vessels in dry dock along the waterfront. Museums are a plenty not least of the all the spectacular new V&A Dundee and, you’re just 5 mins walk from Wellgate Shopping Centre.
Day 5: Time to leave for home with likely thoughts of ‘Haste Ye Back’ (Google it!)
