Join our coach this morning as we make our way to Llangollen Wharf ready to board the Thomas Telford - your Motor Trip Boat - for your cruise departing at 11.45am.
You’ll enjoy 2 hours of peaceful cruising along the stunning Dee Valley, meandering your way along the canal to Froncysyllte.
Your cruise will finish by passing over the world famous and thrilling Pontcysllte Aqueduct - built in 1805 and still unsurpassed to this day in its engineering achievement.
There’s a lovely home-made Ploughman’s Lunch with tea or coffee is served to you on the boat while you listen to a live and interesting commentary from the Captain.
Our coach will be waiting at Froncysyllte for your arrival at around 2pm, ready to take you back up to Llangollen where you will have an hour or so to yourself to explore the village.
We’ll depart Llangollen at around 4.15 and make our way home
The purpose-built narrowboat ‘Thomas Telford’ is fully weather proof. It is centrally heated with comfortable seats and excellent views from every table. On board the boat there is a fully stocked bar open throughout the journey and there are toilets, however please note that there is NO wheelchair access.
