Day 1: We board a famous ‘
Ferry across the Mersey’ and sail into the City for the best views of the famous Liverpool Skyline including the legendary Liver Birds.
From here we go to the
Albert Dock - Liverpool’s most visited attraction and home to
Tate Liverpool and
The Beatles Story, as well as numerous speciality shops, bars and cafes.
We stay overnight at our 4-star Radisson Blu hotel in the city centre.
You’ll find several eating options in the hotel including the Collage Restaurant, more informal light meals (including ‘Scouse’) at the White Bar or room service. Outside the hotel (Old Hall Street) presents many options including Italian (Trattoria) City wine bar kitchen, Tapas, Puffin Room, Mange tout, Pret, Starbucks – all within 5 mins walk.
Day 2 Monday: A local
guide will give us a coach tour of the city followed by free time at the vibrant shopping area known as
‘Liverpool One’.
Mid-afternoon we leave Liverpool One and finish our time in Liverpool with a visit to one of the most amazing and largest
Cathedrals in the World- the Anglican or the Metropolitan Cathedral.
