Day 1: Join the coach this morning as we make our way to our hotel on the headland above Folkestone overlooking Leas Promenade.
Day 2: Today we visit the 11th Century Dover Castle – the largest in England and one with fascinating secrets. Having immersed yourself in its vivid medieval interiors. You can then delve deep within Dover’s White Cliffs to witness the drama in the Secret Wartime Tunnels and underground hospital.
On the way back to Folkestone we’ll stop a while at the National Memorial to the Battle of Britain.
Day 3: A day trip to charming Canterbury including a 45-minute delightful cruise on the River Stour taking in the historic sights of the town.
Our day finishes with a cream tea at Abbots Barton Hotel.
Day 4: Today is left free so you can explore Folkestone at your own pace. Please note it is a flat, 15-minute walk into the centre of town.
Day 5: We leave for home after a last hearty breakfast to see us on our way.
