Itinerary
Day 1: Join our coach as we take a leisurely drive to Somerset. We’ll arrive at Cricket St. Thomas late afternoon. Time to settle-in, get acquainted with the hotel and grounds and look forward to your first evening of entertainment after dinner.
Day 2: Our trip today takes us over the border - into Devon and the attractive town of Tiverton on the River Exe. This morning we enjoy a long, peaceful, relaxing trip along the historic Grand Weston Canal on a delightful horse-drawn barge. When we return to Tiverton you will have ample time to explore the town and have lunch if you wish.
Day 3: A trip to the historic and attractive fishing port of Lyme Regis on the Dorset Coast. This afternoon we visit Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens which Alan Titchmarsh claimed to be “One of the finest Gardens’ He’d ever visited. Entrance included.
Day 4: A last hearty breakfast then we set off for home - arriving back late afternoon.
