Day 1: We travel to Holyhead and board the early afternoon sailing to Dublin.
We normally arrive at our hotel in Donegal between 9.30 and 10pm. A hot meal is served soon after arrival.
We stay for 4 nights in the Central or Abbey hotel in Donegal town.
Day 2: Today we enjoy a relaxing cruise on board the Donegal Waterbus, an 80ft-long pleasure boat with bar and toilets, heating and air conditioning. On our 80-minute cruise around Donegal Bay you’ll see the Bluestack Mountains and the amazing seal island.
Today we also spend some time in Letterkenny, a busy typically Irish town.
Day 3: Take in the glorious scenery on our coastal drive where you’ll see the famous sea cliffs of Slieve League; the highest cliffs in Europe. (Minibus to/from coach to viewing point) Time permitting, we’ll call at picturesque Killybegs, a bustling harbour town that serves as the largest fishing port in the country.
Day 4: Today is left free for you to explore Donegal at your own pace.
Day 5: After breakfast we leave for Dublin to catch the early afternoon ferry back to Holyhead and then continue our homeward journey.
Price based on 2 sharing twin room includes: 4 nights D/B/B plus excursions as shown. Single Supplement applies.
