Day 1: We arrive in Royal Leamington Spa around midday and enjoy a few hours free time to explore this attractive Spa town set on the winding River Leam, it’s known for its Regency architecture and broad boulevards. The colonnaded Royal Pump Rooms, a 19th-century bathhouse, now houses the Leamington Spa Art Gallery and Museum whilst Jephson Gardens Park present formal flowerbeds and glasshouse.
After Leamington it’s a short journey to our hotel where we will stay for 3 nights.
Day 2: After breakfast we leave for Stratford upon Avon. Famously the birthplace of playwright William Shakespeare, Stratford is a beautiful and compact town, which is easy to get around and has plenty of attractions - whether you’re a fan of the Bard or not. Popular sites to seek out include the house where Shakespeare was born; Holy Trinity Church, where he is buried; and the beautiful cottage where his wife Anne Hathaway lived. Or you can just stroll along the river if you wish – it’s up to you!
Day 3: On Easter Sunday we visit the magnificent Blenheim Palace with ample free time to absorb the beautiful interiors and splendid grounds.
Day 4: After breakfast we leave for home.
