This afternoon we enjoy a scenic 2-hour road train trip on the Roses Express. Get on board and we’ll climb among vineyards and rocky coastlines to the highest accessible point of Roses, Puig Alt, to enjoy breathtaking 360º views of the Catalan and French coasts.
Day 5: After breakfast we embark on a relaxing boat trip to the village of Cadaqués, one of the most picturesque coastal towns in this part of Spain. With a distinct Mediterranean feel, the town is dominated by whitewashed houses with red tile roofs which line the craggy coastline right to the shore’s edge… it’s inspired many an artist in its long history. There’ll be some free time to explore its streets before we take you back to the hotel.
Day 6: Today a local, English-speaking guide will accompany us on a full day’s outing to the city of Girona, known as the City of the Four Rivers, for obvious reasons! The colourful houses along the edge of the River Onyar are a sight to behold.
