- First, beautiful Tallinn…
We'll begin in Estonia's captivating capital, where medieval towers, cobbled streets and historic squares make the Old Town feel like somewhere from another age.
A guided tour introduces us to Tallinn's Upper and Lower Towns, including Toompea Castle, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the panoramic viewpoints and the atmospheric Gothic heart of the city.
There is free time too — because sometimes the best way to discover a city is simply to wander, find a café and watch the world go by.
- Then into the real Estonia…
We leave the city behind for a full-day visit to Lahemaa National Park, Estonia's largest national park and a landscape of forests, coastline and traditional villages.
Here we'll visit elegant Palmse Manor, enjoy an included traditional Estonian lunch, and continue to the impressive Jägala Waterfall.
It's a completely different side of Estonia — and one that many ordinary city-break visitors never see.
Our journey south takes us to the delightful seaside resort of Pärnu, known as Estonia's “Summer Capital”.
We'll enjoy a guided tour of its charming Old Town, see St Elizabeth's Church and stroll along the beach promenade. Lunch is included before we continue through the Baltic countryside and along the Gulf of Riga towards Latvia.
- And finally… magnificent Riga
Riga is a city that deserves to be explored properly — and that's exactly what we'll do.
Our guided sightseeing takes in the historic Old Town, St Peter's Church, Riga Cathedral, the House of the Blackheads, Three Brothers and Swedish Gate, before discovering the city's magnificent Art Nouveau district.
