We arrive at our hotel near Bideford on Good Friday for 3 nights.

We take a country road through the Devon landscape for an afternoon of relaxed pleasure at RHS Rosemoor – one of the most splendid Gardens in England and a must while you’re in these parts.
Hartland Abbey.
A fascinating house. Built across a narrow, wooded valley leading to an Atlantic cove a mile away, Henry VIII gifted the Abbey to The Keeper of his Wine Cellar, whose descendants live here today.
We make our way home on Monday after a last, hearty breakfast to see us on our way.
