Join our coach as we head to Chester aiming to arrive late morning. The Roman City is one of the best preserved walled cities in Britain. In addition to this there are numerous buildings of medieval architecture and Victorian restorations. It is a lively place to visit and you’ll find all manner of shops, cosy pubs and tea rooms.

After a few hours of exploration you will embark upon a cruise mid afternoon and will be treated to a cream tea on the beautiful River Dee. Enjoy delicious freshly baked scones with jam and cream alongside piping hot tea or coffee whilst enjoying a leisurely 2 Hour cruise through ‘Eaton Estate’, home of the Duke and Duchess of Westminster. This stunning journey cruises through rural Cheshire, past Heron Bridge and Eccleston Ferry, meandering around the Crook of Dee and through ‘Eaton Estate’. Just beyond Aldford you will see the wonderful sight of the Iron Bridge, before you then return to Chester.

This is an excellent outing for sightseers to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the river whilst you may also have the opportunity to see and photograph wild life including Swans, Herons, Cormorants, Moorhens and even Kingfishers. Your cruise will be punctuated with informative sightseeing commentary and relaxing background music.

After the cruise your coach will be waiting to take you home.
