Join your coach as you head for Abergavenny known as the Gateway to Wales. You will visit on their traditional market day and find the place bustling with activity. Located right in the heart of the town, both figuratively and literally, Abergavenny market has long been the focus of trade through the town. You'll find tradesmen selling all kinds of goods, from local produce to finely crafted works of art. You'll also find a large number of townsfolk hunting for a bargain!
After some free time here your coach will collect you early afternoon and whisk you to a station on the Southern edge of the Brecon Beacons. Here you will board an all-weather observation carriage behind a vintage steam locomotive travelling as far as Torpantau, high in the Brecon Beacons. This will put you in the ideal position to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the National Park. The return journey takes about 90 minutes and includes a small stop at Pontsticill Station for you to enjoy the incredible view.
Once you have returned to the departure station your coach will be waiting to return for home at about 4:30pm.
