Day 1: You’ll arrive at your hotel this afternoon with time to settle-in and freshen-up before dinner this evening.
Day 2: After your first, hearty breakfast we take a trip north - around the coastline to the seaside town of Sidmouth - some call it the ‘cream of the south coast’. It does have a timeless charm about it and certainly a nice place to spend a leisurely morning.
Later today we head back toward Torbay, taking the coastal road to Dawlish. Dawlish is a pretty seaside resort, popular with tourists and locals alike who visit for the personality and charm. Look out for an area known as The Lawn, a public park, which has a delightful little stream and duck pond running through the centre surrounded with green lawns and gardens on its way to the sea via a series of little weirs and waterfalls.
Day 3: Our trip today takes us south along the coast to the picturesque harbour town of Dartmouth on the river Dart. Watch the fishing boats come and go with the day’s catch and explore the variety of unique shops all located around the harbourside and the town centre.
This afternoon we take you into central Torquay so you can spend some time in the main resort.
Day 4: Today is left free so you can explore Babbacombe at your own pace.
Day 5: After a last, hearty breakfast, we travel home.
