A superb short break to Berkshire staying in a beautiful country house hotel with 2 unique treats to delight you…

Day 1: We arrive at Frogmore House Windsor this afternoon.
Frogmore House has been a royal retreat since it was purchased by Queen Charlotte in 1790. The tour of the house ends in the Britannia Room, furnished with items from the Royal Yacht Britannia arranged at Frogmore by His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh. The visit also includes a guided walk in the gardens with views of the lake, Queen Victoria’s Tea House, the Gothic Ruin and the Royal Mausoleum, the final resting place of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert.
We stay overnight at the Hilton or VOCO hotel near reading (about 40 mins away).

Day 2: We visit Great Windsor Park. A guide from the Crown Estates will come aboard the coach - giving us special access to areas of the Park. The tour will finish with a rare opportunity to disembark at the top of the iconic Long Walk to take a picture from of the view from The Copper Horse statue of George 3rd to historic Windsor Castle.
After the tour there is time to look around the renowned Savill Gardens at leisure and lunch if you wish.
We depart for home mid-afternoon
