Lake District Mini Break (A)

"I thoroughly enjoyed my first trip with GB Tours to the Lake District.  The coach arrived on time and the driver was polite and kept us informed about the itinerary.  The hotel staff at Barrow-in-Furness hotel were well organised. Dinner and breakfast were well presented and hotel staff were polite and helpful.  All in all, the mini-break was pleasant, refreshing and enjoyable.  I know a great deal of planning has gone on behind the scenes to make it a success. A delightful short jaunt to the Lakes that won’t break the bank!

Day 1: Join the coach on Sunday morning to the Lake District.

You’ll enjoy free time in the Market town of Kendal and then Bowness on Windermere. Then we go on to our hotel in Barrow in Furness for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: After breakfast – a scenic tour of the Lakes. First, a cruise on Windermere followed by free time in Hawkshead and Coniston.
